Dr. Molly Thangaroopan is a staff Cardiologist and Division Head of Cardiac Diagnostics at Southlake Health, Newmarket. She specializes in advanced cardiac imaging including Echocardiography, cardiac CT, cardiac MRI and nuclear cardiology. She received her M.D. from Dalhousie University in 1998 and completed her fellowship training in Echocardiography at the Toronto General Hospital, University of Toronto. She obtained her Advanced cardiac imaging fellowship training at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School before joining Southlake Health in 2007. She is the Director of the Echocardiography Laboratory at Southlake. She has served on a number of OMA committees including the HOCC committee and Physician Payment Committee (PPC).
